Document Imaging

Our document imaging process.

CST Data begins by traveling to your location to pick up your records. You can choose to pre-pack and log them yourself, or allow us to pull, pack and log the records according to your instructions. Once we’ve obtained your files, our team prepares your documents for scanning: inserting document break sheets, identifying index information, removing staples, taping when necessary and removing creases to ensure that your digital copy is a clean and easy-to-read as possible. The documents are then scanned, quality controlled, indexed, quality controlled a second time and installed on your system. We log each production step for every batch of documents we process. This allows us to track a piece of paper from the box in the warehouse to the image on the screen. This ensures complete document accountability for every step of the scanning process.

Afterward, we store your documents until you’ve reviewed your digital files. When you’re satisfied, we destroy your paper files, return them to you or retain them in our climate-controlled warehouse storage, depending on your preference.
